Pool memberships and swim lesson information are available at the community center or online at www.cityofhilliard.com. Discounted pool memberships are available through March 15.

Community Center memberships are available for $15 a year for Hilliard residents and $20 a year for school district residents. A membership is required to participate in Open Gym.

Registration for Safety Town begins at 6 p.m. Monday, March 9. Join Hilliard police officers, firefighters and other public service workers for lessons on traffic safety, pedestrian safety, animal safety, poison control and stranger danger. Online registration is available for those with a current user name and password.

"Fitness Blast for Adults" meets from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays. Mix and match workouts with strength, balance, core stability, agility, endurance, cardio and more. Drop in for $8.

"Tyke Tyme" meets from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Fridays through April 3. Children ages 3-5 can run, play and hang out with friends. The gym is turned into a toy chest with mats, books and ride-along toys. This is a drop-in class. Parents provide the supervision during their child's gym time. Cost is $1.50 per child.

"Tiny Tyke Tyme" meets from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays through April 7. Just like "Tyke Tyme," but for little ones ages 18 months through 3 years. Cost is $1.50 per child.

A "Yoga Wellbeing Class for Adults" meets from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 18 through March 25. The class follows the Hatha Yoga postures of breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques. Cost is $63 for residents and $68 non-residents.

"Yoga Ball Class for Adults" meets from 9:15 to 10 a.m. Wednesdays. Learn to enhance mind and body with yoga ball, which blends a resistance ball with classic yoga postures. Drop in for $8.

"Dodge Ball for Ages 9-11" will meet from 8 to 8:45 p.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 4-25. Teams of four compete in various dodge ball games that increase agility, hand-eye coordination and fitness. Eye protection is provided. Cost is $30 for residents, $35 for non-residents.
