The Hilliard Chamber of Commerce will host a meeting of Hilliard Women in Business next week.

The meeting will include a presentation by Karen Hough, the founder and CEO of ImprovEdge, a company that creates learning experiences, training and consulting using improvisation to teach business skills, according to chamber president Libby Gierach.

"Her company helps people, teams and companies get unstuck," Gierach said.

A Yale University graduate, Hough originated and expanded the sales and management efforts of three separate technology startups and launched partner programs, according to Gierach. Hough has been a professional improviser and actor for 20 years, and has been a keynote speaker for several national and international events.

The women in business meeting takes place Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Dave & Buster's, 3665 Park Mill Run Drive. Reservations can be made via the chamber's Web site at www.hilliardchamber.org, or by calling the chamber at (614) 876-7666. The deadline for reservations is Friday, Aug. 28.
