The Davidson boys had the best area finish, placing third in the OCC-Central Division at 12-8 as Dublin Coffman (20-0) won the title. Darby (0-20) was last in the division. Bradley also was winless in the OCC-Capital, finishing 0-24 as Mount Vernon (22-2) won the title.

Other boys champions were Dublin Jerome in the OCC-Cardinal and Pickerington North in the OCC-Ohio.

On the girls side, Darby went 11-13 to tie Lancaster for fourth in the OCC-Ohio as Gahanna finished 23-1. Bradley went 5-19 in the OCC-Capital to place sixth behind champion Marys-ville (23-1). Jerome won the OCC-Cardinal.

The boys sectional tournaments are at Darby Creek, Granville and The Players Club at Foxfire.

The top four teams and top four individuals not on a qualifying team advance to the district, which is Oct. 13 at Apple Valley.

Bradley and Darby will compete at Darby Creek, and the Wildcats will play at The Players Club.

The The girls sectional tournaments are at Mill Creek, Mentel Memorial and The Links.
