The Happiness Club luncheon, held at noon the second Friday of each month, is open to all senior citizens, including those who are not center members. Advance registration is due by 4 p.m. on the preceding Tuesday. The cost is $4 for a home-cooked meal and entertainment.

The Hilliard Caregiver Support Group meets regularly at 9:30 a.m. on the third Friday of each month at the center. The meeting is for caregivers of those with Alzheimer's disease.

An open studio is available from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Fridays. Artists can bring drawings or paintings to work on and meet other artists. No fee.

The senior center is collecting items for care packages to be sent to servicemen and women overseas. Those interested are asked to bring items that will fit into a shoe box.

The center is a collection point for food donations to the Hilliard Welfare Society. Drop off non-perishable donations between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Some weekend and evening hours are available. Call to arrange an alternate time.
