Chuck Buck and Larry Earman took the oath of office as Norwich Township Trustees on Jan. 2.

"One of the most challenging issues before us is managing our finances in this difficult economy," Earman said in a press release.

Earman, a certified public accountant, is in partnership with his oldest daughter at Earman and Wood, CPAs in Hilliard.

Buck said he is "humbled and honored to continue to serve and represent the citizens of Norwich Township. I will do my best to represent them in an honest and forthright manner."

Buck is chief operating officer of Buck & Sons Landscape Service, Inc., in Hilliard.

Both men are past presidents of the Hilliard City Schools Board of Education and Hilliard Area Chamber of Commerce, and have received the Galbraith Award for Community Service.

Buck and Earman were re-elected in the November 2009 general election, with Buck starting his fourth term, Earman his second.

Judge Charles Schneider administered the oath at a small gathering of the trustees' families and friends.
