Nineteen students were selected to serve as ambassadors for the Tolles Career & Technical Center. To qualify for the ambassador team, students had to be recommended by a teacher and complete an application outlining their school and community involvement, along with examples of leadership skills. Students were chosen from this group to be interviewed by the ambassador advisors, who then selected the team members.

Over the summer, the student ambassadors assisted with the Summer Fest held on the Tolles' campus in July; served as guides at the Ice Cream Social/Schedule Pick up Night in August; and performed skits to help explain Tolles' student guidelines at the opening school day assemblies.

Some of the events that the ambassadors will lead include providing building tours for potential students, community groups and associate school district groups; reading the morning announcements; and leading Fall Fest and lunch time activities.
