Monday February 20, 2012 2:23 PM

The Columbus Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect in 19 local robberies that had taken place since January in Hilliard, Dublin, Columbus and Grove City.

Christopher Blaho, 26, whose last known address was London, Ohio but was living out of his car, was arrested yesterday after a burglary at a residence on Schooner Court in Columbus. He had been under surveillance by Columbus SWAT.

After being arrested, police said Blaho confessed to other robberies, including two Subway stores in Hilliard. He used the money and items stolen to support a heroin habit, police said.
