March 12

• A 30-year-old man was cited for assured clear distance following an injury accident on I-270 North.

• A 44-year-old woman was cited for starting and backing after she struck a parked car at 4800 Drayton Road. No injuries were reported.

• A male was struck as he walked at Jeannette and Leap roads and was taken to the hospital. The driver who struck him left the area and has not been located.

• A 26-year-old man was cited at Cemetery and Lacon roads for not driving in marked lanes and not having a child restraint system.

• At 11:30 p.m., a man reported the theft of a tool box and tools valued at $500 from his vehicle at Comfort Suites, 3831 Park Mill Run Drive.

• A female reported a robbery near a parking lot on Scioto Darby Road. Further investigation determined that the offense did not occur.

• A 32-year-old man was cited at Mill Run and Spring Mill drives for not obeying traffic control devices.

• A 17-year-old boy was cited at 4300 Winterringer Street for having an unregistered vehicle.

• A 28-year-old woman was cited on I-270 South for having non-transparent tinted windows.

• A 36-year-old man was cited on Carrington Way for not having a fire alarm permit.

• A 32-year-old woman was cited for failure to control after striking a cable barrier on I-270 South. One injury was reported.

March 14

• At 1:26 a.m., Sports on Tap, 4030 Main St., reported the theft/failure to pay for goods/services. Loss was $58.25.

• ITT Technical Institute, 3781 Park Mill Run Drive, reported a theft of electronic equipment valued at $1,100.

• A 24-year-old man was arrested on Lyman Drive on an outstanding warrant.

• At 2:40 p.m., Target, 4211 Trueman Blvd., reported the theft/ shoplifting of a Samsung cell phone valued at $229.99 and identified a suspect.

• A driver lost control of his vehicle on private property in the 4400 block of Cemetery Road and struck a curb and bushes.

• At 5:20 p.m., a 65-year-old woman was cited for failure to yield following an accident involving a motorcycle in the roundabout at Cemetery Road and Main Street. The motorcyclist reported minor injuries.

• A 32-year-old man was cited at Cemetery Road and the I-270 overpass for having an expired/unlawful license plate.

March 15

• At 1:30 a.m., Hilliard Police took report of domestic violence.

• A 26-year-old woman was cited at High School Drive and Scioto Darby Road for speeding.

• A woman reported she was bitten by a dog on Moraine Avenue. A citation was issued for animal at large.

• A 29-year-old woman was arrested at Lyman Drive and Parkway Lane on an outstanding warrant through the Upper Arlington Police Department.

• Federal National Mortgage reported damage done to a residence at Garrison Court. Drywall was damaged and copper piping was removed from the home. Damage was $300; loss was $1,500.

March 16

• A 22-year-old man was arrested in the 4800 block of Cemetery Road and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and on an active warrant through the HPD.

• At 9:15 p.m., an accident was reported at Dublin and Fishinger roads. Four injuries were reported.

• A man reported his 17-year-old daughter was assaulted and her vehicle damaged by someone she knows.

March 17

• A man reported the theft of his vehicle valued at $300 that contained a child safety seat valued at $60. Both items were recovered the following day by the Columbus Police Department.

• A 31-year-old man was cited at Cemetery Road and the I-270 overpass for not wearing a seat belt.

• A 16-year-old girl was cited at Cemetery Road and I-270 overpass for not obeying traffic control device signs.

• A 22-year-old man was arrested on I-270 North for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a court summons.

• A 26-year-old woman was arrested on Dee Drive on an outstanding warrant through the Columbus Police Department.

• A driver struck a mailbox on Alton Darby Road in Norwich Township.

• A woman reported the theft of a cell phone, GPS and other items from her vehicle on Harvest Meadow Road.

• A breaking-and-entering report was taken at a residence on Luther Lane. The property is listed as vacant and the last known owner as Indeed Ltd. Drywall was damaged and copper piping was removed from the residence. Loss was $10,000.

• A man reported his vehicle was damaged while it was parked on Braidwood Drive in Norwich Township. Someone broke a window and damaged the paint. Total damage was $750.

• At 9:41 p.m., a 32-year-old man was cited at Dublin Road and Ridgewood Drive in Norwich Township for not displaying lights.

• A 65-year-old woman was cited for assured clear distance following an accident on Fishinger Road in Norwich Township. Two injuries were claimed.

• At 10:40 p.m., an 18-year-old woman was arrested and charged with OVI after being stopped for a traffic violation on Scioto Darby Road. She was released on a court summons.

March 18

• At 12:04 a.m., a 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with underage consumption of alcohol after being found intoxicated and asleep in a vehicle on Westbriar Drive.

• At 1:59 a.m., a 46-year-old woman was arrested on Halle Circle for OVI after being involved in a domestic violence incident. She allegedly drove away and returned a short time later and was found to be intoxicated.

• At 2:10 a.m., a 22-year-old woman was arrested on Summit Bend Road for disorderly conduct after being found intoxicated and confused.

• At 3:21 a.m., a 31-year-old man was arrested at Dublin Road and Hayden Boulevard for OVI-physical control under the influence.

• A 71-year-old man was cited on I-270 South for not wearing a seat belt.

• At 9:44 p.m., police took a reported of a three-car accident at Avery and Hayden Run roads. Four injuries were reported. A 40-year-old woman was issued a citation for disobeying a traffic control device.

• At 11:38 p.m., a 45-year-old man was cited for failure to control after he struck a guardrail at Cemetery Road and Trueman Boulevard.

March 19

• A man reported someone used his personal information to file a false tax return.

• At 1:50 p.m., a 15-year-old girl was arrested at Darby High School and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

• A man reported someone he knows violated a protection order against his 16-year-old daughter while at Darby High School.

• A man reported his 13-year-old son was threatened by a classmate at Memorial Middle School.

• At 3 p.m., Motel 6, 3950 Parkway Lane, reported damage totaling $1,375 was done to a room.

• A 37-year-old man was cited on I-270 South for driving in marked lanes and following too closely.

• An 18-year-old man was cited for assured clear distance following a non-injury accident at 5600 Hayden Run Road in Norwich Township.

• A 30-year-old man was cited at Center and Main streets for making an illegal U-turn.

• At 11:30 p.m., a woman reported someone was seen looking into the windows of her Crystal Ball Drive home on two occasions.

March 20

• A vehicle was abandoned on I-270 North in Norwich Township for several days.

• HPD officers took report of an animal complaint on Farley Drive involving two canines found to be at large.

• A 24-year-old man was arrested on Cutwater Lane an outstanding warrant through the Columbus Police Department.

• At 8 p.m., a man reported a theft from his vehicle while it was parked at Homewood Suites, 3841 Park Mill Run Drive. Someone broke a window and removed a Lenova laptop computer and bag valued at $700. Damage was $250.

• United Dairy Farmers, 4640 Cemetery Road, reported a gas theft/drive-off. A woman pumped $52 worth of gasoline in her vehicle and left without paying.
