Woman reports shots fired at her vehicle

A woman told Hilliard police a known person fired at least one shot at her car at 11:40 p.m. Jan. 10 as she was driving at Jeannette Road and Stonecross Lane.

The woman was not injured, but her vehicle was damaged. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.

In other recent incident reports from the Hilliard Division of Police:

* Police arrested a 40-year-old man, a 24-year-old man, and a 23-year-old woman at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 12 for breaking and entering in the 4300 block of Lyman Drive. The suspects stole brake pad cores worth $2,000.

* Firearms worth $2,350 were reported stolen at 1 p.m. Jan. 10 from a residence in the 5400 block of Edie Drive.

* A burglary was reported at 7:20 p.m. Jan. 11 at a residence in the 4700 block of Brittonhurst Drive.

* Police arrested a 13-year-old girl at 2:20 p.m. Jan. 12 for assault in the 5300 block of Dexter Avenue.

* Police arrested a 29-year-old man at 12:15 a.m. Jan. 10 for possession of drugs in the 6300 block of Scioto Darby Road.

* Police arrested a 15-year-old boy at 3:20 p.m. Jan. 8 for assault in the 4800 block of Hillcrest Street South.

* Police arrested an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman at 7:35 p.m. Jan. 6 for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 6000 block of Hayden Run Road.

* An 18-year-old woman was arrested at 3:05 a.m. Jan. 5 for drug possession in the 3800 block of Park Mill Run Drive.

* Police arrested a 38-year-old man at 2:15 a.m. Jan. 6 for OVI and drug abuse at Britton Parkway and Hayden Run Road.

* A 26-year-old man was arrested at 2:55 a.m. Jan. 14 for OVI in the 3200 block of Dublin Road.

* Tools and a coat were reported stolen at 4 p.m. Jan. 5 from a vehicle in the 3900 block of Lyman Drive.

* Police reported an 11-year-old boy was assaulted Jan. 9 at J.W. Reason Elementary School, 4790 Cemetery Road. One student kicked another, police said.

* A stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, air conditioner and garbage disposal, worth a total of $5,700 and belonging to a realty company, were reported stolen Jan. 9 from a residence in the 4500 block of Carrington Place. A granite countertop also was damaged.

* Police arrested a 29-year-old man at 12:15 a.m. Jan. 10 for possession of drugs in the 6300 block of Scioto Darby Road.

* Police arrested a 28-year-old woman at 7 a.m. Jan. 10 for obstruction of official business in the 4600 block of Jeannette Road. The woman was arrested after lying to police about the location of a person wanted for a warrant.

* A 21-year-old man was arrested at 11:35 p.m. Jan. 11 for OVI following an accident at Cemetery Road and Interstate 270.

* Police reported a wallet was stolen at 1 p.m. Jan. 9 from the 3800 block of Veterans Memorial Drive.

* A 21-year-old man was arrested at 11:35 p.m. Jan. 11 for OVI at Cemetery Road and I-270.

* Police arrested a 32-year-old man at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 10 for theft at Prince Charles Way and Queen Elizabeth Place.

* A cellphone, iPod and an e-reader were reported stolen Jan. 11 at Hilliard Davidson High School, 5100 Davidson Road.

* A digital music player was reported stolen at 11:10 a.m. Jan. 11 at Hilliard Darby High School, 4200 Leppert Road.

* Police arrested a 32-year-old man at 3:25 p.m. Jan. 10 for theft at a store in the 4600 block of Cemetery Road.

* A 34-year-old man was arrested at 4:40 a.m. Jan. 13 for assault in the 4700 block of Cemetery Road.

* Police arrested a 26-year-old man at 2:55 a.m. Jan. 14 for OVI at Dublin Road and Highpoint Drive.

* A 25-year-old man was arrested at 12:45 a.m. Jan. 12 for receiving stolen property in the 4400 block of Paxton Drive.

Columbus Division of Police

* Columbus police reported a 13-year-old boy used his stepfather's shotgun to chase a burglar out of a residence in the 2900 block of Collier Hill Court at 11:45 p.m. Jan. 11.

The boy told police he was in his upstairs bedroom when he heard a sliding glass door open downstairs. The boy told police he retrieved his stepfather's shotgun and confronted the male suspect in the kitchen of the home.

The boy reported the suspect "charged at him" and that he struck the suspect on the left shoulder with the butt of the shotgun. The suspect ran away in an unknown direction, police said.

* A 15-year-old boy told police he was assaulted at 4 p.m. Jan. 11 at Roberts Road and Potts Place.
