Police arrest suspect in Jeanette Road shooting

Hilliard police on Jan. 19 helped arrest a 22-year-old man in connection with a shooting Jan. 10 on Jeanette Road in Hilliard that injured two teenage girls.

Justin Lee Wickham, of South James Road in Columbus, was apprehended as he fled an apartment building in the 2700 block of Prendergast Place in Reynoldsburg.

The U.S. Marshals Service's Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team also participated in the arrest.

Wickham was charged with three counts of felonious assault and was scheduled to be arraigned Jan. 22 in Franklin County Municipal Court.

Police said Wickham allegedly fired shots at a vehicle with three teenage girls in the 4800 block of Jeanette Road in Hilliard shortly before midnight Jan. 10.

Two of the girls sustained minor injuries, police said.

* Police arrested a 20-year-old man for obstructing official business and criminal damaging at 2 p.m. Jan. 11 at Main and North streets. The man damaged two fences on private property while attempting to run from police.

* Police arrested a 47-year-old man for assault at 6 a.m. Jan. 12 in the 5300 block of Scioto Darby Road.

* A mailbox was reported vandalized at 11 p.m. Jan. 12 in the 2600 block of Pennbrook Court.

* Tires were reported cut on a vehicle at 11 p.m. Jan. 12 in the 4300 block of Winterringer Street.

* A 34-year-old man was arrested for assault at 4:30 a.m. Jan. 13 in the 4800 block of Midlane Drive.

* Police arrested a 31-year-old man for possession of controlled substances and falsification at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 13 in the 5500 block of Maple Dell Court.

* A 24-year-old man was arrested for drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia at 1:15 a.m. Jan. 13 at Cemetery Road and High School Drive.

* Police arrested a 33-year-old man for possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:30 a.m. Jan. 13 in the 6100 block of Jeffrelyn Drive.

* A 25-year-old man was arrested for drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia at 8:15 p.m. Jan. 12 in the 3700 block of Main Street.

* A 16-year-old girl was arrested for OVI at 5 a.m. Jan. 12 at Cemetery Road and Main Street.

* Police arrested a 25-year-old man for receiving stolen property and obstructing official business at 10 p.m. Jan. 12 in the 4400 block of Paxton Drive. Stolen property was recovered at the scene.

* A spare tire was reported stolen at 11 p.m. Jan. 12 from a vehicle in the 4200 block of Wayne Street.

* Firearms parts were reported stolen at 8 a.m. Jan. 11 from a residence in the 4500 block of Crystal Ball Drive.

* A digital music player was reported stolen Jan. 11 from Hilliard Darby High School, 4200 Leppert Road.

* A backpack containing textbooks, a calculator and other schools supplies was reported stolen at 10 p.m. Jan. 14 from a vehicle in the 4300 block of Knickel Drive.

* Police arrested a 24-year-old man for possession of drug paraphernalia at 2:50 a.m. Jan. 16 at Britton Parkway and South Clara Circle.

* A 20-year-old man was arrested for possession of narcotics at 8:45 p.m. Jan. 15 at Hilliard-Rome Road and Whispering Oak Boulevard.

* Police arrested a 49-year-old woman for assault at 3 a.m. Jan. 17 in the 5300 block of Sutter Home Road.

* A 14-year-old boy was arrested for assault at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 17 in the 5300 block of Scioto Darby Road.

* Police arrested a 37-year-old woman for assault at 12:50 a.m. Jan. 18 at Wilcox Road and Noor Drive.

* A wallet was reported stolen at 11:45 a.m. Jan. 17 from a vehicle in the 4500 block of Cosgray Road. Scrap metal and a go-kart, worth a total of $1,000, were reported stolen at 11 a.m. Jan. 19 from the 4300 block of Edgewyn Avenue.

* Police arrested a 16-year-old girl for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia at 10:45 p.m. Jan. 19 at Hilliard-Rome Road and Richlanne Drive.

* A 19-year-old woman was arrested for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia at 3:20 a.m. Jan. 19 at Cemetery Road and Leemar Drive.

* Police arrested a 17-year-old boy for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia at 1 a.m. Jan. 19 at Hilliard-Rome Road and Springdale Boulevard.

* Five iPads were reported stolen at 8 p.m. Jan. 18 from a vehicle in the 3800 block of Park Mill Run Drive.

* Medication and cosmetics were reported stolen at 11:30 p.m. Jan. 18 from a vehicle in the 5200 block of Grandon Drive.

Columbus Division of Police

* Columbus police reported an electric guitar, amplifier, acoustic guitar, jewelry, a laptop computer and a television were stolen between noon Jan. 16 and 4 a.m. Jan. 20 from a residence in the 6100 block of Goldenstrand Court.

* A laptop computer, a television and two handguns were reported stolen between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Jan. 18 from a Columbus residence in the 5200 block of Misty Brook Lane.
