Man arrested for child pornography
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office on March 4 arrested Michael T. Kupay, 25, of Glenlake Circle in Columbus, with possession of child pornography.
Kupay was charged with pandering obscenities involving a minor, a fourth-degree felony.
He was arraigned March 5 in Franklin County Municipal Court, where a bond was set at $10,000. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing March 14 in municipal court.
According to Hilliard police, the arrest stemmed from an investigation of the Internet Crimes against Children Task Force, a task force of local, state and federal law-enforcement agencies focused on Internet crimes and funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.
