A new 228-unit apartment complex broke ground in northwest Columbus late last month, with completion expected in summer 2014.
The District Apartments carry a $23 million price tag and will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, carriage houses and town homes in the Hilliard City Schools near the Mall at Tuttle Crossing.
Developer Vision Development will include a clubhouse, fitness center and indoor/outdoor entertainment center with a grill room, outdoor kitchen, dining area, fire pit and pool in the complex that is being built off Edwards Farms Road south of Hayden Run Road.
Units will range from 720 to 1,700 square feet and start at $930.
The Upper Arlington-based company anticipates finishing construction in summer 2014, but will start signing leases this August for the development that will feature colonial, craftsman and carpenter gothic architecture.
