Hilliard: String of burglaries reported in past two weeks

Hilliard police said burglaries were reported in the past two weeks at several locations throughout the city.

Items reported missing included firearms, jewelry, medications, clothing and sunglasses.

A .40-caliber pistol and 9-mm pistol were reported stolen at 10 a.m. April 19 from a residence in the 3900 block of Kul Circle North.

Jewelry, cash and prescription medication were reported stolen at 12:45 p.m. April 21 from a residence in the 3400 block of Leap Road. Loss was estimated at $1,667.

Two iron chairs were reported stolen at 6 p.m. April 18 from a business in the 5200 block of Center Street.

Medication and clothes were reported stolen at 1 a.m. April 19 from a vehicle in the 6000 block of Nova Park Lane.

Clothes and a digital camera were reported stolen at 8:30 p.m. April 14 from a vehicle in the 3800 block of Park Mill Run Drive.

A cellphone, eyeglasses, a digital camera and other items were reported stolen at 3 a.m. April 12 from a vehicle in the 3900 block of Lyman Drive. Loss was estimated at $2,236.

A cordless drill was reported stolen at 6 p.m. April 11 from a garage in the 5500 block of Edie Drive.

Police reported several pairs of sunglasses were stolen at 10:15 a.m. April 15 from the 3700 block of Westbrook Drive. Loss was estimated at $2,500.

In other recent incident reports from the Hilliard Division of Police:

* A vehicle was reported damaged during an attempted break-in at 8:45 p.m. April 15 in the 3700 block of Park Mill Run Drive.

* Police arrested a 34-year-old man for disorderly conduct at 4 p.m. April 15 in the 4100 block of Wayne Street.

* A 51-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct at 9:35 p.m. April 12 in the 5300 block of Grace Street.

* Police arrested a 51-year-old man for disorderly conduct at 4:40 a.m. April 16 in the 4200 block of Cemetery Road.

* Police arrested a 37-year-old man for assault and domestic violence at 12:25 p.m. April 12 in the 5300 block of Franklin Street. The same man was arrested at 6 p.m. April 12 for possession of drugs and on an active warrant for domestic violence. He was transported to the Franklin County jail.

* Police arrested a man for carrying a concealed weapon, receiving stolen property and drug trafficking and another man for carrying a concealed weapon and possession of drugs at 10:45 a.m. April 11 on Cemetery Road and Interstate 270.

* A 23-year-old man was arrested for possession of drugs at 2:15 a.m. April 14 in the 3500 block of Paxton Drive.

* Police arrested a 24-year-old for possession of drugs at 4:45 p.m. April 13 in the 4200 block of Cemetery Road.

* Police arrested a 29-year-old woman for obstruction of official business at 7:55 p.m. April 19 in the 4100 block of Shire Cove Road.

Columbus police

Columbus police reported a 2006 Honda Accord was stolen between 12:10 and 1 a.m. April 16 from the 2600 block of Beacon Court.

In other recent incident reports from the Columbus Division of Police:

* Prescription sunglasses, clothes, an iPad and $100 in cash were reported stolen at 10:30 p.m. April 18 from a vehicle in the 5300 block of Roberts Road.

* A GPS was reported stolen between midnight and 1 a.m. April 19 from a vehicle in the 5600 block of Cabot Cove Drive.

* Police reported a window was broken at 2:30 a.m. April 18 on a vehicle in the 2500 block of Quarry Stone Drive. No property loss was reported.

* A woman reported her purse, containing credit cards, a driver's license, membership cards, gift cards and a checkbook, was stolen between 7 and 9:30 p.m. April 14 in the 5700 block of Nike Drive.
