Hilliard law director arrested for OVI

Hilliard Law Director Tracy Bradford, 50, appeared Tuesday, April 30, in Franklin County Municipal Court to answer a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

She was represented by Columbus attorney Bradley Koffel, a specialist in OVI defense, according to Municipal Court records.

Bradford's April 30 arraignment was continued to May 23, and she said she is permitted to drive with no restrictions at this time.

ThisWeek could not immediately reach Koffel for comment, but he told WBNS-10TV Bradford planned to plead not guilty.

Hilliard police arrested Bradford on April 23 for OVI and failure to stay in marked lanes on Fishinger Boulevard near Smiley Road in Norwich Township.

Bradford, of Darbyshire Boulevard, was named law director in February after serving as assistant law director since 2004.
