Two drivers were arrested for OVI during a five-hour checkpoint operated by the Franklin County DUI Task Force on June 14 and 15 in Hilliard.
The Hilliard Division of Police was one of six law-enforcement agencies that staffed the checkpoint from 9 p.m. Friday, June 14, to 2 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at Hilliard-Rome Road and Richlanne Drive.
The other agencies were the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Franklin Township, Reynoldsburg and Upper Arlington police departments.
In addition to the OVI arrests, eight other motorists were arrested for driving without a license or having a suspended license, and one was arrested for misdemeanor charge of drug possession.
Police issued 10 citations.
A total of 1,049 vehicles entered the one-direction checkpoint. Three vehicles were impounded.
