Hilliard: Spate of drug-related arrests made in past two weeks

Hilliard police made several arrests in the past two weeks for drug-related charges.

* A 36-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:05 a.m. July 24 in the 3600 block of Main Street.

* Police arrested a 26-year-old man for possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:35 p.m. July 24 at Cemetery Road and Interstate 270.

* A 23-year-old man was arrested for possession of drugs at 1:45 a.m. July 23 in the 4800 block of Jeannette Road.

* Police arrested a 47-year-old man and a 43-year-old man for possession of drug paraphernalia at 7:50 p.m. July 21 at Cemetery Road and I-270.

* A 22-year-old woman was arrested at 12:50 a.m. July 21 for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 4200 block of Cemetery Road.

* Police arrested a 19-year-old woman for possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:45 a.m. July 21 in the 4800 block of Jeannette Road.

* Police arrested a 23-year-old man for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia at 6:20 p.m. July 20 in the 4600 block of Cemetery Road.

* A 17-year-old boy was arrested for possession of drugs at 9:05 p.m. July 27 at Scioto Darby Road and Bradford Drive.

* Police arrested a 20-year-old man for possession of drugs at 2 a.m. July 28 in the 3600 block of Braidwood Drive.

* A 40-year-old man was arrested for drug abuse at 2:30 a.m. Aug. 2 at Cemetery Road and Lyman Drive.

* Police arrested a 23-year-old man for possession of drugs at 5:30 p.m. July 31 in the 4500 block of Edgewyn Avenue.

In other recent incident reports from the Hilliard Division of Police:

* Police reported graffiti was sprayed July 31 at Hilliard Crossing Elementary School, 3340 Hilliard-Rome Road.

* Jewelry, a video-game console, two DVD players, an iPod and several laptop computers were reported stolen at 10 a.m. July 23 from a residence in the 4500 block of Earman Drive.

A window screen was broken to gain entry, police said. Total loss was reported at $7,349.

* Jewelry and a generator, worth an estimated $6,900, were reported stolen at 12:30 p.m. July 26 from a residence in the 5100 block of Longview Drive.

* A burglary was reported at 3:45 p.m. July 21 at a residence in the 4800 block of Jeannette Road.

A window screen was broken to gain entry, police said.

Prescription medication, furniture, a DVD player and money were reported stolen. Total loss was reported at $2,292.

* Police reported a burglary at 11 p.m. July 27 at a residence in the 4400 block of Heather Ridge Drive.

Tools and other items worth $208 were reported stolen.

* Police reported vandalism at 11 p.m. July 27 at the Hilliard Church of the Nazarene, 3669 Leap Road.

* Police reported a boy's bicycle was stolen at noon July 23 from the 4400 block of Traillane Drive.

* Police reported a vehicle was vandalized at 11 p.m. July 21 in the 5200 block of Conklin Drive.

* Police reported the windshields of two vehicles were broken at 2 a.m. July 21 in the 5100 block of Cavalier Drive.

* A vehicle was reported vandalized at 11 p.m. July 21 in the 3700 block of Luxair Drive.

A rock allegedly was thrown at the vehicle. Damage was estimated at $3,000.

* Police reported a garage door was vandalized at 11:30 a.m. July 19 in the 4500 block of Fern Trail Drive.

* A vehicle window was reported broken at 6 a.m. July 19 in the 4600 block of Trueman Boulevard.

* Police arrested a 32-year-old woman for falsification at 3 a.m. July 23 in the 4600 block of Jeannette Road.

* Prescription medication was reported stolen at 11 p.m. July 23 from the 4300 block of Leppert Road.

* A purse was reported stolen at 6:15 p.m. July 25 from a vehicle in the 7200 block of Hayden Run Road.

Loss was estimated at $500 and damage to the vehicle at $200.

* Property was reported stolen at 6 p.m. July 23 from two vehicles in the 3900 block of Alton Darby Creek Road.

* A wallet containing a debit card, driver's license and other items was reported stolen at 6 p.m. July 20 from an unlocked vehicle in the 5600 block of Revere Drive.

* Police arrested a 24-year-old man for criminal trespassing at 5:15 p.m. July 19 at the Hilliard branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library, 4772 Cemetery Road.

The man had been ordered to leave the property but returned, according to the report.

* A man reported his vehicle was damaged by an object thrown from a freeway overpass bridge at 1 p.m. July 22 at Davidson Road and I-270.

* Police arrested a 30-year-old man for disorderly conduct at 5:15 p.m. July 21 in the 3400 block of Portrush Avenue.

* Prescription medication was reported stolen at 9 a.m. July 27 from a residence in the 6000 block of Nova Park Lane.

* A cellphone and wallet were reported stolen at 4:50 p.m. July 28 from the 3800 block of Carriage Run Drive.

* Police reported a leaf blower and weed trimmer were stolen at 10 p.m. July 29 from a garage in the 4900 block of Harvest Meadow Road.

* A wallet was reported stolen at 11 p.m. July 29 from a vehicle in the 5000 block of Cemetery Road.

* A purse was reported stolen at 2 p.m. July 28 from a vehicle in the 3900 block of Trueman Boulevard.

* Police reported a vehicle was vandalized at noon Aug. 1 in the 4800 block of Rays Circle Southwest.
