Hilliard: Man charged with using vehicle in felonious assault

Hilliard police arrested Gerald Reardon, 46, for felonious assault at 8:15 p.m. Aug. 10 after he allegedly used his vehicle to strike a woman's vehicle and cause her harm in the 3900 block of Parkway Lane, according to reports.

No other details were available.

In other recent incident reports from the Hilliard Division of Police:

* Police arrested a 38-year-old man for burglary at 12:50 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 4500 block of Tremont Club Drive. The man cut a screen and damaged a door but no property loss was reported. He was transported to the Franklin County jail.

* Police arrested a 19-year-old woman for possession of drug-abuse instruments at 1:45 a.m. Aug. 10 in the 3600 block of Leap Road.

* Police arrested a 20-year-old man for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and a 21-year-old man for possession of drug-abuse instruments at 3:35 p.m. Aug. 17 in the 4100 block of Trueman Boulevard.

* Police arrested a man for drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia at 11 p.m. Aug. 17 in the 5000 block of Cemetery Road.

* A 56-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 8:05 a.m. Aug. 15 at Cemetery and Lacon roads.

* Police arrested two people on drug-related charges at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 16 at an apartment in the 4800 block of Jeannette Road.

* Police arrested a 19-year-old man on drug-related charges at 2:15 a.m. Aug. 19 at Leap Road and Anson Drive.

* A 47-year-old man was arrested for receiving stolen property at 12:15 p.m. Aug. 13 in the 3400 block of Leap Road. The man was in possession of a stolen car, according to police reports.

* Police arrested a 22-year-old woman for OVI, possession of drugs and tampering with evidence at 2 a.m. Aug. 13 in the 3300 block of Woods Mill Drive.

* Property damage was reported at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 14 at a residence in the 4600 block of Oracle Lane.

* Press-box speakers were reported vandalized at 4 p.m. Aug. 10 at Scioto Darby Elementary School, 5380 Scioto Darby Road.

* Property damage was reported at 10 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 3200 block of Hilliard-Rome Road.

* A woman was arrested for disorderly conduct at 6 a.m. Aug. 9 in the 3200 block of Scioto Bend Drive.

* Police arrested a 25-year-old woman for assault at 4:30 a.m. Aug. 12 in the 4500 block of Swenson Street.

* A bicycle was reported stolen at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 13 from the 4400 block of Trailane Drive.

* Police arrested a 46-year-old man for theft at 4:35 p.m. Aug. 10 at a store in the 4100 block of Trueman Boulevard.

* Prescription medication was reported stolen at 7 a.m. Aug. 12 from the 5400 block of Scioto Darby Road.

* A cellphone was reported stolen at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 9 from the 3100 block of Hilliard-Rome Road.

* Copper fittings for a gas grill, a GPS unit and cellphone charger were reported stolen at 11 p.m. Aug. 11 from an unlocked vehicle in the 3900 block of Davidson Run Court.

* A wallet was reported stolen at 7 p.m. Aug. 8 from an unlocked vehicle in the 4600 block of Paxton Drive.

* Property damage was reported at 8:05 a.m. Aug. 15 in the 4400 block of Circle Drive.

 

Columbus Division of Police

Columbus police reported windows were broken on three vehicles between 11:30 p.m. Aug. 13 and 6:30 a.m. Aug. 14 in the 5500 block of Blue Lagoon Lane.

In other recent incident reports from the Columbus Division of Police:

* Air-conditioning units worth $4,000 were reported stolen Aug. 16 from the 5300 block of Tansas Lane.

* Police reported a burglary occurred between 2:30 and 9:30 a.m. Aug. 14 at a residence in the 2400 block of Hilliard-Rome Road. A television, radio and light fixture were reported stolen.
