10TV sports anchor’s daughter killed in I-270 crash
Maria Elizabeth Tiberi, the 21-year-old daughter of 10TV sports anchor Dom Tiberi, was killed Sept. 17 in an accident on Interstate 270 near Cemetery Road, according to Hilliard police.
Tiberi, a Dublin resident, was driving south on I-270 at about 10:46 p.m. when she struck a semi trailer stopped in heavy traffic, police said.
Tiberi was transported to Grant Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
A 30-year-old woman driving the semi was not injured.
Police are continuing to investigate the fatal accident.
Tiberi was a graduate of Dublin Coffman High School and a student at the Ohio State University.
