YOGA

Sessions are from 6:45 to 8 p.m. on Mondays. No need to register. Bring a mat and wear comfortable clothes. Instructor is Debbie Rogers. There is a $5 drop-in fee.

ZUMBA

For ages 16 and up, Zumba combines high-energy, motivating music with easy-to-follow moves. Instructor is Doreen Woodard. Sessions are from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. Thursdays and Saturdays. There is a $3 drop-in fee.

HILLIARD LITTLE HOOP STARS

For pre-K and kindergarten, professional coaches from Jump Start Sports run this instructional and recreational basketball program. Players are taught the basics of dribbling, passing, shooting, positioning, defense and rebounding and then apply what they have learned in noncompetitive games. Parents are welcome to assist in coaching, but classes are run by Jump Start Sports instructors.

The fall session runs on Saturdays, Nov. 2 through Dec. 14 (no class Nov. 30), from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. or 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Hilliard Community Center. Cost is $60 is for residents and school district residents, plus a convenience fee.

SCENAPOLOOZA

Students ages 6 and up can work on script analysis and spotlight moments in this two-hour, four-week class. Instructor is Tina Gleason. Sessions are from 5 to 7 p.m., Nov. 4-25.

AARP DRIVING

Learn how to avoid driving hazards with this class. There are no tests and some auto insurance companies offer discounts to participants of this class. Register for the class at the Phyllis A. Ernst Senior Center. The fee is not due until the first day of class.

Class is from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21. Cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for nonmembers. Make checks payable to AARP.

DISC GOLF

The Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park is home to a nine-hole disc golf course near the amphitheater stage and west of the Hilliard Family Aquatic Center parking lot. Use of this course is free. Bring your own discs.

2014 POOL MEMBERSHIPS

Both pools will be open open the weekends of May 17-18 and May 24-26, Memorial Day. Purchase discounted pool memberships between Jan. 2 and March 18, 2014. Gift certificates are available at the recreation department office.

TRICK-OR-TREAT IN HILLIARD

Hilliard will observe Beggars Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31.
