Destination Hilliard recently received recognition for achievements in marketing and advertising at the Ohio Travel Association's Recognizing Uncommon Brilliance (RUBY) awards presentation, held Oct. 17 in West Chester.
Destination Hilliard received a Ruby Award for Discover Hilliard magazine, designed to encourage residents to become community ambassadors, and a Citation of Excellence for the Tour Operator Direct Mail Campaign.
Christy Clark, executive director of Destination Hilliard, accepted the award.
The Ohio Travel Association's RUBY Awards recognize excellence in Ohio's travel and tourism industry for efforts in advertising, marketing and public relations.
This year's competition included160 entries in 16 categories. The awards, sponsored by Ripple Effect Interactive, were presented during the Ohio Conference on Tourism, the state's largest conference for tourism industry professionals.
