Two cellphones reported stolen on consecutive days from YMCA

Two cellphones recently were reported stolen from the local YMCA, according to Hilliard police.

A cellphone was reported stolen at 6 p.m. Dec. 12 from the Hilliard/Ray Patch Family YMCA, 4515 Cosgray Road. One day later, another cellphone was reported stolen at 6 p.m. Dec. 13.

In other recent incident reports from the Hilliard Division of Police:

* A coat worth $120 was reported stolen at 1:40 p.m. Dec. 13 from Darby High School, 4200 Leppert Road.

* Two air compressors and five air framing nailers were reported stolen at 3 p.m. Dec. 11 from a trailer in the 4000 block of Lyman Drive.

* Police reported $40 was stolen at 11:05 p.m. Dec. 12 from a vehicle in the 3900 block of Lyman Drive.

 

Columbus police

A 26-year-old woman told Columbus police she was assaulted and robbed at 1:10 a.m. Dec. 17 in the 5200 block of Westpointe Plaza Drive.

The woman said a person struck her on the head with an unknown object and took her purse.

The purse contained $22 and a cellphone worth $400, police said.

In other recent incident reports from the Columbus Division of Police:

* Police arrested a 36-year-old man for disorderly conduct at 10:35 p.m. Dec. 16 in the 1700 block of Hilliard-Rome Road.

* A 22-year-old woman and 20-year-old man told police two known persons threatened each of them at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 19 in the 2000 block of Arway Drive.
