Hilliard students' artwork on display at arts college

Twenty-six students from Hilliard's three high schools will have their artwork displayed through Feb. 1 at the Canzani Center at the Columbus College of Art and Design, 60 Cleveland Ave.

The students' artwork is part of the 2014 Scholastic Art Awards Exhibition.

More than 950 central Ohio students in grades 7 through 12 submitted artwork.

Among the entries, 137 received Silver Key awards and 70 received Gold Key awards.

Nine Hilliard students received Gold Key awards. They are:

Bradley -- Taylor Irvin and Megan Petikas.

Darby -- Emma Bryant and Abigail Niehaus.

Davidson -- Brian Ferenchik, Ali Massinople, Nick Morbitt, Kennedy Olson and Travis Williams.

Nineteen students, including Gold Key winners Massinople and Petikas, received Silver Key awards:

Bradley -- Megan Ashbrook, Alyana Hanson, Ross Hanson, Ashton Huffman, Shivam Patel, Petikas and Sarah Sprague.

Darby -- Brock Arocha, Erika Kieffer, Beckee Sopher, Mandie Walker and Molly Winkler-Sabino.

Davidson -- Lucas Abrahams, Kerry Boganwright, Cailin Brabb, James Herth, Ali Lemichuk, Massinople and Lillian Saniel-Banrey.
