Tolles students will advance to national contest

Tolles Career and Technical Center recently competed at Ohio's SkillsUSA competition in Columbus. Some students advanced to the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference, a showcase of career-technical education students. The national contests will be in Kansas City this June.

Seth Hahn, a Bradley High School senior in the Digital Media Production program, earned first place and a gold medal in the television/video-broadcasting competition. The honor was earned alongside his teammate, Hunter Harrison, a Jonathan Alder High School junior.

Other Tolles students who earned medals include:

* Aaron Mitchell Davis, a Davidson High School senior in the Power, Sports and Diesel Technologies program, who earned third place and a bronze medal in the motorcycle-service competition;

* Korey Kendall, a Darby High School senior in the Engineering Technology program, who earned third place and a bronze medal in the career-tech showcase (science, math, technology) competition;

* Dan Tran, a Darby High School senior in the Engineering Technology program, who earned third place and a bronze medal in the career-tech showcase (science, math, technology) competition.
