Franklin County Public Health and the Columbus Academy of Veterinary Medicine, low-cost rabies immunization clinic for dogs and cats, 1 to 3 p.m. June 27 at Windsor Park, 4330 Dudley Ave., Grove City. The cost is $5 per pet, cash only, with no appointments necessary. All dogs and cats must be on a leash or in an animal carrier. Clintonville Woman's Club, summer lunch series open to the public, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 16 and Aug. 20 at the clubhouse, 3951 N. High St. July's event will be Christmas in July, including a turkey dinner with all the trimmings. The August luncheon will feature ham loaf with a hot side dish. Make-A-Wish, 15th annual Medical Mutual Columbus Walk For Wishes, 10 a.m. July 26 at McFerson Commons, Arch Park, 218 West St., Columbus. Registration starts at 9 a.m., with families taking part in a one- or three-mile scenic walk to help grant wishes for children battling life-threatening medical conditions.
