Hilliard resident Allysen Todd has been named dean of arts and sciences at Columbus State Community College.
Todd most recently served as the dean of academic affairs at Community College of Allegheny County in Pennsylvania. During her tenure there, Todd also served as an interim vice president, dean of arts and sciences, head of the English department and professor of English.
As the dean of arts and sciences at Columbus State, she will collaborate with faculty and staff to implement articulation agreements and faculty relationships with four-year institutions.
Todd has earned a doctorate degree in philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh, a master of arts from Duquesne University and a bachelor of arts from Bethany College.
