Hilliard: Equipment stolen from apartment clubhouse

A power washer and other items worth an estimated total of $1,600 were stolen following a break-in reported to Hilliard police at 11 p.m. July 28 at the Hilliard Grand apartments clubhouse, 5399 Grand Drive.

Doors and locks were broken, causing damage estimated at $500, according to the police report.

In another break-in, Schottenstein Homes reported two air-conditioning units worth $2,200 were stolen at 5 p.m. July 29 from a two unoccupied residences in the 6100 block of Longwood Drive.

In other recent incident reports from the Hilliard Division of Police:

• Police reported a bag containing $238 belonging to Hilliard City Schools was stolen at 10 a.m. July 31 from bus garage adjacent to Davidson High School, 5100 Davidson Road.

• Police arrested a 24-year-old man for possession of a controlled substance at 5:30 p.m. July 26 in the 3700 block of Park Mill Run Drive.

• A 49-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at 6:30 p.m. July 26 in the 3800 block of Municipal Way.

• Police arrested a 32-year-old man for drug abuse at 9:45 p.m. July 25 at Cemetery Road and Lyman Drive.

• A resident in the 3800 block of Leemar Drive reported criminal damaging at 4 a.m. July 23. A garage door, flower pots and motion-detecting lights were reported vandalized.

• Police arrested a 42-year-old man for domestic violence and assault at 12:30 a.m. July 27 in the 4800 block of Drayton Road.

• A man told police a known person threatened him at 10:45 p.m. July 29 in the 4500 block of Bolon Avenue.

• Police arrested a 20-year-old man for public indecency at 6 p.m. July 29 in the 5000 block of Hamilton Road.

• A 39-year-old man woman was arrested for theft at 7:30 p.m. July 23 in the 4100 block of Trueman Boulevard.

• Police reported a cellphone was stolen at 10 p.m. July 24 in the 3700 block of Main Street.

• A driver's license, car key and money were reported stolen at 10:30 a.m. July 23 in the 3300 block of Portrush Avenue. Property loss was reported at $354.

• Police reported a license plate was stolen at 5 p.m. July 31 from a vehicle in the 5400 block of Hyde Park Drive.

• A battery-powered toy jeep and other toys worth an estimated total of $490 were reported stolen at 3 a.m. July 27 from a residence in the 6200 block of Ridgefield Drive.

• Police arrested a 23-year-old woman for theft at 11 a.m. July 31 in the 4200 block of Trueman Boulevard.
