Davidson girls win Superintendents Cup

The Hilliard Davidson High School girls golf team won the Superintendents Cup on Sept. 26 at Thorn Apple.

Led by sophomore Annie Stimmel, who was medalist with a 36, the Wildcats shot 179 to edge Hilliard Bradley (184) and Hilliard Darby (222) for the title among the three district schools.

Senior Katie Lease shot 39, followed by senior Megan Ries (50), junior Sydney Weadock (54) and senior Kristina DePaola (65) for the Wildcats.

The top finishers for Bradley were juniors Zoe Banaag (42) and Caitlin Silva (45) and seniors Alyssa Parkin (48) and Brooke Boring (49).

Scoring for Darby were sophomores Lydia McDaniels and freshman Hayley Scott with 52 and senior Spencer Martin and sophomore Anna Burkhart with 61.
