Alex Backenstoe and Matt Dugan both had five goals and one assist as the Hilliard Davidson High School boys lacrosse team defeated Westerville North 16-11 on May 2 to end a three-game losing streak.
Jacob Myers added two goals and two assists, Drew Shaffer had one goal and three assists and goalkeeper Seth McCall had 11 saves for the Wildcats, who were 4-9 overall and 0-5 in the OCC-Buckeye Division before playing Upper Arlington on May 7.
Backenstoe scored four goals to lead Davidson in a 14-7 loss to Westerville Central on May 3.
Foard added one goal and one assist, Brett Annis and Myers both scored one goal and McCall had 10 saves.
The Wildcats lost to Thomas Worthington 13-7 in an OCC-Buckeye game April 30.
Ziccardi leads Jaguars in pair of victories
Led by Simon Ziccardi, Bradley won back-to-back games last week.
Ziccardi had four goals in a 12-11 win over Bexley on April 30 and scored five in a 17-1 win over Cincinnati Oak Hills on May 3.
Bradley was 6-7 overall before playing Westerville South on May 7 and is 2-3 in the OCC-Ohio.
Robert Humphreys, Connor McDunn and Daniel Stuhldreher each added two goals against Bexley and goalie Jake Angelo had nine saves. Against Oak Hills, McDunn, Chris Apollonio and Drake Stephens all had three goals, Tristan Flannery scored two, Angelo had three saves and Luke Murrin had one save.
Panthers hand Bexley sixth consecutive loss
Darby had won eight in a row and was 10-1 overall and 4-1 in the OCC-Ohio before playing Olentangy Orange on May 7.
The Panthers, defeated Bexley 15-5 on May 2, as Drew Eramo, Ryan Rampi and Max Weese each had three goals, Blake Skinner scored two and Jordan Coppess had eight saves.
The loss was the sixth in a row for the Lions.
Weese scored six times and Rampi scored five goals as Darby defeated Marysville 20-2 on May 5 in league play. Daniel Brashear scored three goals and Alex Stewart scored twice.
