Northridge dropped to 1-4 overall and 0-2 in the league and now has been outscored a combined 83-7 in league play.


Utica scored three touchdowns in the first quarter to take a 21-0 lead, then added six points in the second quarter and seven each in the third and fourth quarters.


A pair of interceptions led to a pair of touchdowns and a blocked punt was returned for another score in the opening half.
Quarterback Jason Hoar was 9-for-12 passing for 126 yards and a touchdown, all in the first half.


•BULLDOGS UP NEXT - The Vikings got a good gauge on what to expect Friday when they travel to Howard to play East Knox in an MBC game. The Bulldogs lost to Utica 43-30 on Sept. 12 in the league opener before bouncing back to defeat Centerburg 46-19 last Friday to move to 2-3 overall.


Nick Kidd rushed for four touchdowns - 3, 43, 12 and 13 yards against the Trojans last Friday.


The Bulldogs'other win was 54-0 over Millersport on Sept. 5.


Against the Lakers, Kidd ran for 113 yards on 17 carries with three touchdowns, Brandon King had six carries for 65 yards and a touchdown and Colton Tucker added 42 yards on two attempts with a score. Quarterback Tyler Clement was 2-for-5 passing for 71 yards.


The Vikings started slowly against Fredericktown as five senior starters were suspended for the first quarter.


The Freddies led 21-0 after one quarter and 34-0 at halftime before Northridge scored its only touchdown in the third quarter on a 15-yard pass from Sean Haines to Justin Dague.
