The Johnstown Northridge Food Pantry is in need of various items, according to director Ruth Krumm.

"The food has slowed down from coming in since we've had all this snow." she said. "We have bought quite a bit."

Items that are in short supply include soda crackers, jelly, mixed vegetables and canned peas.

"We could also use some shampoo and toilet paper," Krumm said. "That would really help."

As of Monday, the pantry had assisted 70 families in February.

The pantry is located at the Johnstown Independent Baptist Church, 7397 Johnstown-Alexandria Road.

Krumm can be reached by calling 740-924-2835.
