Gracie Kenny, a student at Oregon Elementary School in Johnstown, was one of three winners of Park National Bank's contest to provide artwork for its 2001 calendar.

Three Licking County students - including Stacie Carlton of Lakewood Middle School in Hebron and Jason Hohman of St. Francis De Sales in Newark - received $100 in a Park National savings account.

The winning artwork is featured on a three-month calendar that is distributed to more than 18,700 homes and businesses. This year, students submitted artwork that reflected their community.

In addition to the winners' cash prizes, each winner's school art department also received a $100 donation from Park.

Two financial aid workshops for Licking County high school juniors and seniors and their parents are being offered in January.

The workshops will be offered at 6:30 p.m. on two Thursdays, Jan. 6 and Jan. 20, at C-TEC, 150 Price Road in Newark.

A financial aid representative from Denison University guidance counselors from each area high schoolwill be present to provide information on grants, loans, scholarships and the FAFSA form.
