The staff of ThisWeek Community Newspapers brought home 32 awards from the Ohio Newspaper Association’s Osman C. Hooper Weekly Newspaper Show Feb. 9 at the Columbus Polaris Hilton.

The total represents the most awards ever at the Hooper Show for ThisWeek and was also the highest number won by any Ohio newspaper chain. A total of 70 weekly newspapers from across Ohio submitted entries in this year’s competition.

In addition to recognition for print journalism, photography, design and advertising, ThisWeek entries swept several categories, including Division A Best Local Feature, and Divisions A and B Best Photo. ThisWeek also won top honors for best group newspaper website.
