Museum at Buckeye Lake, training classes for anyone interested in volunteering to become a tour guide for the Historic Cranberry Bog or crewmember on the Queen of the Lake Tour Boat, at the museum, 4729 Walnut Road. The training will take place at 7 p.m. April 9, for crewmembers; April 11, for bog guides. Both classes will be offered for those who cannot make weekdays at 4 p.m. April 21. The guides will learn about the plants and the history of the bog and then participate in scheduled tours. The Queen Crew volunteers assist with docking, greeting passengers and helping them on and off the boat. It requires a boating safety course, and participants must be over 18 years of age.
