Johnstown: Man's best friend becoming neighbors' pet peeve

Johnstown police recently received reports about misbehaving dogs and their owners.

A resident in the first block of Main Street reported that a neighbor won't keep his dog off her property and it defecates everywhere. She said the canine's owner also doesn't clean up after the dog. The animal complaint was received at 10:38 a.m. March 11.

A Sportsman Club Road resident reported at 7:15 p.m. March 11 that two dogs in the first block of West College Avenue tried to get out of a fence and attack her and her dogs while she was walking.

A strange dog was reported in the Lakeview/Sunset area and wouldn't leave the area, according to an animal complaint received at 2:54 a.m. March 8.

* An East Coshocton Street resident reported that two juveniles attacked his son in the area of Ashbury Apartments at 7:27 p.m. March 6.

* A resident in the first block of Saratoga Drive reported her father was drunk, and he threatened her and her mother at 9:34 a.m. March 7.

* A Payne Street resident reported that her underage daughter was given alcohol at a party in the 599 block of Main Street at 8:57 pm. March 6.

* A total of $60 in gasoline was reported stolen from Circle K, 8 N. Main St., at 12:54 p.m. March 9.

* A safe was reported missing from a residence in the first block of Westview Drive at 2:20 p.m. March 7.

* An employee at a business in the 700 block of West Coshocton Street reported her ex-husband would not stop calling and harassing her at work at 8:10 a.m. March 11.

* A syringe was found in the parking lot of Tech International, 200 E. Coshocton St., according to a report received at 9:50 a.m. March 10.

* A Briarwood Drive resident alleged having information about a drug dealer, according to a report received at 5:34 p.m. March 9.

* A woman reported that a man wouldn't get out of her vehicle at 6:17 p.m. March 5 in the 100 block of Valleyview Drive.
