Johnstown: Disturbance, theft calls bring officers to local pub

Johnstown police recently responded to a local bar for a disturbance and theft.

Two women had a confrontation inside Henson's Pub, 48 S. Main St., according to a complaint received at 1:30 a.m. March 17. The women wouldn't divulge the issue. One woman was told to go to a friend's house to calm down for the evening, according to reports.

In addition, a Henson's Pub bartender called police at 1:48 a.m. March 16, when a customer left without paying a tab of more than $100. The man was angry about the amount, according to reports.

In other recent incident reports from Johnstown police:

* Drugs were reported stolen at 3:34 p.m. March 24 from a residence in the first block of South Williams Street.

* Gas was reported stolen at 11:20 a.m. March 24 from Circle K, 8 N. Main St.

* A car was vandalized with a key behind the Horseshoe Tavern off Pratt Street, according to a complaint received at 12:41 a.m. March 22.

* A Sunset Drive resident reported he heard three shots coming from the field between Whit's and Kroger at 1:51 p.m. March 21.

* A couple was arguing about keys at Park National Bank, 60 W. Coshocton St., according to a disturbance call received at 12:32 p.m. March 21.

* Two brothers were reported fighting in the square along Main Street at 5:11 p.m. March 16. One was transported to Grant Medical Center, according to reports.

* A female Briarwood Drive resident was reported making lewd comments to a man and his neighbors at 4 p.m. March 14.

* A girl allegedly sent threatening text messages to an Elm Street resident, according to a complaint received at 7:59 p.m. March 12.
