Johnstown: Harassing phone calls and text messages reported

Johnstown police recently received complaints from residents who reported being harassed via electronic devices.

A resident in the 500 block of Cole Drive reported receiving harassing phone calls and text messages at 5:51 p.m. June 17.

A resident in the 200 block of Kyber Run Circle inquired about a restraining order after her son's ex-girlfriend allegedly sent harassing text messages and made harassing phone calls.

The complaint was received at 9:38 p.m. June 11.

In other Johnstown police incident reports:

* Two females were rummaging through a trash receptacle at Goodwill, 215 W. Coshocton St., and refusing to leave at 11:17 a.m. June 15. The women left prior to police arrival, according to reports.

* Two juveniles were allegedly smoking marijuana near the portable toilets on the town square during the Fireman's Festival, according to a report received at 1:18 p.m. June 14.

* A resident in the first block of East Coshocton Street reported three tires on his vehicle were slashed last Monday. The victim reported the incident at 6:24 a.m. June 15.

He said the fourth tire was slashed later while the car was parked at a business in the first block of North Main Street.

A resident in the 200 block of Briarwood Drive reported someone damaged her vehicle, according to a criminal damage report received at 12:59 a.m. June 11.

* Fireworks were being set off at the former Northview Senior Living Center on Main Street, according to a complaint received at 8:09 p.m. June 13.
