Johnstown: Bicycles stolen around village during the week

Johnstown police recently responded to the theft of several bicycles within the village.

A bicycle was reported stolen from a residence in the first block of West Pratt Street, according to a theft report received at 12:28 p.m. Aug. 12.

A bicycle was reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Lewis Court at 8:14 p.m. Aug. 11. A man driving a tan Ford Ranger allegedly took a bike off the property and drove off, according to reports. The bicycle is white and is valued at $100.

In other Johnstown police incident reports:

* A woman reported that her brother spray-painted her yard in the 100 block of North Main Street at 3:57 p.m. Aug. 12.

* Someone pumped gas at Circle K, 8 N. Main St., and left without paying at 8:49 a.m. Aug. 12.

* Someone dumped trash at a residence in the 100 block of Meadow Lane, according to a report received at 6:17 p.m. Aug. 11.

* An unidentified person was taking items from a trash bin at Goodwill, 715 W. Coshocton St., according to a suspicious-persons report received at 7:10 a.m. Aug. 11.

* A cow was reported outside a fence across from the Kyber Run subdivision at 7:13 a.m. Aug. 10. The cow's owner was contacted and said he would get it.

* Steel shelving was reported stolen from Apple Blossom, 32 E. Coshocton St., at 11:52 a.m. Aug. 7.

* An intoxicated man was reported in the roadway by The Pub on South Main Street at 1:48 a.m. Aug. 7.

* A resident in the first block of Lewis Drive requested assistance with an aggressive pit bull at 11:28 a.m. Aug. 6. Animal control took possession of the dog, according to police reports.
