Between 11:15 and 11:30 p.m. May 13, in the 400 block of Mount Vernon Road: A woman reported someone shoved a rag into the tank of a 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche and set fire to it.

Burglary reports were made last week from the 100 block of Spring Street, the 100 block of South Fourth Street, the 200 block of North Buena Vista Street, the 300 block of North 21st Street, the 300 block of Eddy Street, the 600 block of King Avenue, the first block of Wilwood Avenue, the 1400 block of Londondale Parkway, the 200 block of Isabelle Road, the 1400 block of Twin Pines Drive, the 300 and 1200 blocks of West National Drive and the 400 block of Courtney Drive.

Between 7 and 7:26 p.m. May 13, in the 300 block of Eddy Street: Police took reports of a man running door to door, knocking and saying someone was chasing him. The man's girlfriend said he had used drugs and alcohol and that no one was chasing him.

Between 3:45 and 4:15 p.m. May 6, Liberty Middle School, 1055 Evans Blvd.: A woman on May 9 reported the theft of three cell phones, two iPods, headphones and a bra from a locker. Also at the school at 3:43 p.m. May 13, a teenager reported the theft of an iPod from her purse.

Between 10 p.m. May 10 and 9 a.m. May 11, in the 800 block of Jones Road: A man reported the theft of his $300 propane-powered gas grill.
