Daweswood House Museum Tours, 3:15-4:15 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Tour through the museum and learn about the co-founders' passion for the natural world. Cost is $2 for adults and $1 for students.

Wetland Chronicles: Fall Migration, 8 to 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 1. Hike the wetlands and perhaps see the phenomenon of migratory birds stopping to rest and feed at the Dutch Fork Wetlands while winging their way south to wintering grounds. Cost is $8; members free. Reservation required.

Bonsai for Kids, 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Nov. 1. Bonsai curator Keith Stevens will encourage children ages 11 through 14 to develop their creativity through the art of bonsai. Cost is $30; $25 for members. Reservation required.

Evergreen Identification: Uncommon Varieties, 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Nov. 8. Learn how to identify many uncommon conifers. Participants will meet at the Visitors Center for a slide show before taking a van to the Conifer Glen. Cost is $12/$8 for members. Reservations required.
