Nov. 13, at 1:29 a.m. in the 1100 block of Pierson Drive, and 9:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Meadowbrook Drive: In two instances, a man kicked in front doors of residents in their 80s, demanded and received money, and fled. In the first case, an 88-year-old man and another person in the house were ordered to the floor as the robber stole between $300 and $400. In the second case, an 80-year-old man initially kept the robber on the floor when he fell down while breaking in, but he got to his feet, wielding a 5-inch knife. The victim gave him $150. The robber is described as white, in his 20s or 30s, between 5'8" and 5'11" in height, clean-shaven and with a thin build. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 670-7215 or 670-7201.

11:38 p.m. Nov. 7, in the 8300 block of Mount Vernon Road, St. Louisville: Deputies charged a man with criminal damaging and learned that there was a parole violation warrant out for his arrest.
