Anthropologist Robert Cook will discuss "Border Issues: Culture Contact and Change in Southern Ohio, ca. A.D. 1000-1650" at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 3, at the Ohio State University's Newark campus.

Cook will speak in the John Gilbert Reese Center.

The program, which is part of the Faculty Lecture Series, is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served at a reception after the lecture.
