Several Licking Heights High School marketing education students placed during competition at the Ohio DECA Career Development Conference in Columbus.

Junior Kailee Stevens placed first in Ohio in the Restaurant and Food Service Marketing Management event. Alisa Malone and Marqus Smith placed fourth in the Sports and Entertainment Marketing Management event, and Farhiya Abdi placed fourth in the Principles of Marketing interview event for first-year members.

These students qualified to compete at the International DECA Career Conference to be held in late April in Orlando, Fla.

Other finalists who received medals were Kori Charles, Sara Goff, Sebrina Herndon, Vlade Necovski and Kaity Perfect.
