Two suspects charged in connection with Pataskala murder
A Columbus man and a teenager have been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting death of 69-year-old Thomas Miller of Pataskala.
Miller was found shot to death Sunday, Oct. 21, near a barn he had used for storage on a farm at 6770 Mink Road in Pataskala.
According to the Licking County Prosecutor's Office, Miller went to the property shortly after 6:30 a.m. after being alerted by an alarm.
Police apprehended Danny G. Hensley, 49, of Columbus, on the property.
Jessie Muncy, 15, also of Columbus, was taken into custody later. It is believed that the juvenile also was on the scene.
Hensley is being charged with aggravated murder and is being held without possibility of bond.
Licking County Prosecutor Kenneth Oswalt had not requested the death penalty as of last week.
The juvenile also is being charged with delinquency counts of murder, aggravated robbery and breaking and entering. No decision has been made on whether the juvenile would be tried as an adult.
