Rojas, a professor in the modern foreign languages department at Ohio Wesleyan University, has scholarly work published in literary magazines, reviews and anthologies. Published poetry includes Vertebral River / Río vertebral, Ceremonial of Wind / Ceremonial de viento, Santuarios desierto mar and Lluvia de lunas. In the spring of 2011, Rojas was honored by the Universade de Coimbra, Portugal, as its resident poet.
