The symposium will feature Joan Roughgarden, adjunct professor at the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology, University of Hawaii, and a professor of biology, emerita, at Stanford University's School of Humanities and Sciences and Sarah Richardson, assistant professor of the history of science and of studies of women, gender and sexuality at Harvard University.
