Volunteers of the Licking County Aging Program will be recognized April 12 at a luncheon at Heritage Hall Senior Center, 1058 E. Main St., Newark.
Celeste Friedman will provide musical entertainment at the luncheon, which begins at 11 a.m. The menu includes barbecue chicken, baked beans, dill potato salad, green beans, cookies and beverages.
Anyone who has volunteered for LCAP during the last year is invited to attend. For reservations, call 740-345-0821 or 1-800-452-0097 and ask for the nutrition department. The deadline for reservations is April 8.
Other activities at the center include Men's Monday, which runs from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Monday, April 1. The 26-Word Photo Club will hold its first meeting at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, in Heritage Hall's arts and crafts room. All participants should have access to a computer. Bingo, which has returned to the center after its winter hiatus, is held at 2 p.m. each Thursday.
