Ranjit Bolt's translation of Moliere's rhymed couplets into modern poetry for the National Theatre of Great Britain is the script guest director Geoffrey Nelson chose for this production.
According to a Denison news release, the translation "retains the rhymed couplets of the original, with witty dialogue that is almost musical in rhythm."
