Licking County: Resident reports shotgun stolen

The Pataskala Division of Police is investigating the theft of a shotgun reportedly taken from a residence in the first block of Railroad Street sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. July 1.

The gun was in a safe, which was damaged in the incident. The value of the gun and the damage to the safe was estimated at $550, police reports state.

The gun was reported missing at 7:53 p.m. July 1.

In other recent incident reports from the Pataskala Division of Police:

* Police arrested a 24-year-old man for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia at 10:53 p.m. June 28 on Columbia Road at Refugee Road.

The man was found with possible crack cocaine, a glass pipe and other drug related instruments, police reported.
