Licking County: Pataskala police arrest 5 people on drug charges

The Pataskala Division of Police arrested five people Aug. 8 and 11 on drug-related charges.

Police arrested a 19-year-old male and a 19-year-old female for possession of drugs at 9:45 p.m. Aug. 11 in Foundation Park.

Reports said the pair were found with a bag of what police believe is marijuana.

Officers arrested three 19-year-old males for drug abuse at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 12000 block of McIntosh Road.

The men were found with a green leafy substance and two glass pipes according to reports.

In other recent Pataskala Division of Police reports:

* Police cited a 12-year-old female for assaulting a 14-year-old female at 9 p.m. Aug. 9 in the 100 block of Coronado Drive.

Pataskala Police Capt. Michael Boals said it was a simple assault and charges were filed against the 12-year-old.

* Police cited a 45-year-old male for unreasonably loud noise at 5:23 a.m. Aug. 8, in the 5000 block of Summit Road.

Boals said the man was playing music too loudly.

* Police are investigating a handgun valued at $200 that was reportedly taken sometime between midnight Aug. 7 and 1:59 p.m. Aug. 10 from a residence in the 100 block of West Avenue.

* Police arrested a 52-year-old woman on charges of criminal damaging after she entered a bedroom window of a house in the first block of Belz Warner Drive at 9:49 p.m. Aug. 11.
