Johnstown Area Seniors, meeting and program, 10 a.m. Sept. 9 at Church of the Ascension, 555 S. Main St., Johnstown. This is a non-denominational group for those 55 years of age or older. A social gathering with coffee starts the day, with a meeting at 10:30 a.m., a program at 11 a.m. and lunch at 11:30 a.m. There is a $5 one-time admission fee and $5 fee for each meeting that includes lunch.
